Dyeing is the process of imparting colors to a textile material through a dye (colour).
Colour is applied to fabric by different methods of dyeing for different types of fiber and at different stages of the textile production process.
The demand for processed fabric is rising in accordance with the increase in production and export of value added products i.e. apparels and made-ups.At present, cotton constitutes 78 percent of the total fibre consumed by the textile industries. There is demand for cotton dyeing units as the consumption of cotton textiles has increased .
