Sodium Perborate

Sodium perborate (PBS) is a white, odorless, water-soluble chemical compound with chemical formula NaBO3.

Sodium perborate usually exists in two forms, tetrahydrated and monohydrated.

Sodium perborate produced by means of a product of hydrogen peroxide and sodium metaborate reaction, is widely used in household, textile and chemical industries. As an effective universal oxidizing and bleaching agent.

Sodium perborate is used by industry to formulate a variety of cleaning products including powders or tablets sold as laundry detergents, dishwashing products, or a variety of other cleaning products.

It is also present in some tooth bleaching formulas. It is used as a bleaching agent for internal bleaching of a non vital root treated tooth.
