Rice Flake making project

MFPI: "Rice flakes making units can easily be established in paddy growing rural areas either by an individual or on co-operative basis. Husk (22%), bran (5%) and broken flakes (2%) are byproducts. The husk can be used as fuel for heating the water required for soaking paddy, and for heating the grain roaster. The bran rich in oil (18-25%) is pure and stablised and can be used for extracting oil. The broken flakes can be used for preparing traditional food products.
Estimated project cost:
Capacity of the unit : 2000 kg/day
Building : 50 M2
Equipment : Rs.1,00,000
Working Capital (1 month) : Rs.50,000"
