Corn Oil

Corn oil has a higher polyunsaturated fatty acid content and a lower saturated fatty acid content, thus healthier for human consumption.

Refined corn oil is 99% triglyceride, with proportions of approximately 59% polyunsaturated fatty acid, 24% monounsaturated fatty acid, and 13% saturated fatty acid.

Industrial uses for corn oil include soap, salve, paint, rust proofing for metal surfaces, inks, textiles, nitroglycerin, and insecticides

The present demand for the Corn Oil is estimated at 195 tonnes per annum. The demand is expected to reach at 334 tonnes by the year 2017.
