Acrylic Paint

              

• A painting medium which developed that combine the properties of both water media and oil painting.
• Acrylic paints are composed of pigments suspended in a acrylic emulsion. Acrylics are thinned with water and can be mixed with gels and pastes to create textural effects. 
• Among available paints it having capability of quick drying, forming a hard plastic. 
• Sometimes it mix with an acrylic retarder in to the paint to slow the drying process.These are well suited for building transparencies , rather than for painting that requires delicate control and blending.
